PCI x 16 and PCI x 1, will they work with crossfited 6870s?

My friend is giving me a really good deal on two Diamond 6870s, and I was wondering if my motherboard supported it to where it is useful or if i need to upgrade that too. It has one PCI x 16 and two PCI x 1 slots. I was wondering if the dual 6870s will be able to support the two with this current motherboard. Thanks in advance.

you will need a 2 16x or 2 8x or a 16x and a 4x

if you are going to buy a new mobo dont get a 16x + 4x, you will probably get a bottleneck with 2 of those in xfire

its 109 + shipping, comes with AM3+ so if you wanted to you could grab one of the new processors coming out (bulldozer) and seems to have good feedback
