Tricky question.....
Well if you want a gpu that can handle all the upcoming 3d and 2d games you'll have to invest in a high end card like the Nvidea gtx 590 or the AMD HD 6990....
BUT first of all take a look at your rig... You'll have to make sure that no bottleneck will occur...

well...im goin to buy a cpu with these specifications..amd phenom 2 x6
16 gb ram that is 4*4gb
Asus motherboard
I need a good graphics card even if it doesnt give 3d effect but shud not get stuck with any of the upcoming games
