Hey guys, I'm trying to get a couple more years out of my current setup and am wanting to either upgrade ram or my GPU atm. I'm just curious which you guys think would give me more performance?

Current specs are:

Core 2 Quad Q6600
Two 2GB G.Skill 800mhz
EVGA 9800 GT
ASRock G31M-S R2.0 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

I'll either go from 4 to 8 GB ram or the 9800GT to a Radeon 6870. I'm also upgrading (finally) from xp to windows 7 and will be using the computer for gaming mostly. LoL and Diablo 3 when it finally launches. Doing my best not to spend over 300$ at the moment.. lol. I appreciate the feedback!

If you're looking to spend $300, and maybe willing to go over a bit for taxes, I'd reccomend this,. It isn't the newest graphics card out there, bu it's a kick ass card for that price

However, if you wanted to go a little ore conservative with your spending, you could probably get a 6950 for about $300 with taxes.
