hello..i am trying to bild my first gaming rig,,i have a pc with Q6850, extreme OC to 3.67.4 gigs ram, winxp only shows 2.75, gtx 285 i gig ram.. bought system.... sill good for most games but losing the gaming edge , need something alot faster than what i have


so far i have purchased

got about 1000.00 to spend on MOBO,cpu,and ram..........

looking for 6 core I7 cpu , mobo, and ram
been looking for weeks,,so many choices,,need help

Add a SSD for the boot drive, it should still give you more then enough to play with in the cpu/mobo/ram department.

CPU wise I'd go with a i7-3930K.
