More about upgrading system gaming
  1. Save some cash on the mobo. The i3 can't OC so go for an H instead of the Z.
I'm sure someone else can help with specifics
  2. oh I see, I was thinking of a different plan but feels a bit off now that u mention that. what if instead of buying the i3 I go for a i5 and end up a bit below the $400 mark at around $389.

    was looking at

  3. It's still not an OC'ing chip. you need an i5 2500k for that - if you can do it you should.
Or go for the 2400 and still save on the mobo.
  4. I since looked some more and changed my selection, Like i said I want this to be a gaming computer,

    Mobo: BIOSTAR H61MGC H61 Micro
