Nzxt phantom power button doesnt work right?

I have an asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo

everything works completely when i flip the psu switch, and the nhit the mobo power button

powers on....gives me a d7 debug code however but other than that works

now the bad part is, im gonna have to do this everytime if i dont find a solution

i have this blue part to my case, looks like 24 pins, female connector. i see one spot on my mobo

right beside the psu hookup, but its not powering? Its in the usb 3.0 header.

What could be the problem?

Did you hooked up the front panel connectors of your case to the motherboard correctly? Refer to your motherboard manual if you're unsure

what do you mean front panel connectors? I connected the 4 pin whats it called...its connected to psu, i dont know about the motherboard! what conectors go to it?

there are power, reset, power led and hdd led connectors that comes from your case which needs to be connected to the pins on the motherboard.

in the mb guild it have a block of pins..for the speaker...the hard drive led..power on...reset switch...most new mb have a little part now that you plug the wires onto it and it goes in one way to the front panel header pins.

OH YEAH! i have thos eplugged in! but i tried two different ways, neither worked! one says gnd and dummy

it says hdd + and -

i have one hdd that has 2 pin so im guessing + and -

what is gnd though?
