What happened to Wolfdale/Conroe/Kentsfield/Yorkfield? Especially Kentsfield

All are Core 2 models. So Core 2 encoumpases Conroe, Kensfield, Wolfdale and Yorksfield.

I am honestly suprised that K10 got so many votes over K8. K8 was a much better arch compared to K10.

But Core 2 was just awesome.

Aside from the phenom II, AMD's multicore CPU's have been garbage. I used amd exclusively until the core 2 cpu's came out.

I went with Core2, it was the biggest architectural jump of the lot in terms of efficiency and performance, Sandybridge is just a evolution of Core2.

My favorite CPU architecture is Intel Core. I think it is one of the best architecture. It is rapid, steadfast and very popular.

I can see many people don't remember the Athlon 64 because everybody is voting for K10 lol. Personally I think K8 is a boss.
