Lab Setup

Hello all


I am studying windows & other systems, which requires plenty of hardware to setup lab & still thr is risk involved crashing & all other mistake can be made while working so I am planning to setup the lab in Virtual environment with that I can go back on previous state if i messed up something.

Now the question is how much ram & CPU it requires?

I need 8 - 10 pc running all the time when i will start work. It will be 2 root domains (2k8) , Exchange server minimum 4, Three client pcs (window & Linux), 1 penetration system (BT5), & GNS3 running 2 x 7200 routers (ios image) with ASA.

Please advice

sounds like you're a hacker. get a intel itenium. with as much ram as you can afford to fit.
