Can i put any pci express x16

Hello,
my card seems to have stopped working properly, its a 260 and ws fine last night when i switched it of but today after a clean out the fan does not work and there is no signal to my monitor, please help if poss

First off I would check all your connections if you havn't already done so. The power connectors to the card and does everything else work. When you turn on the power do you hear the post beep and is there a bios splash screen. Case fans working ? Turn off and unplug and take and reseat the video card , replug in the power connectors.

Mine doesnt have a power connector to it. But I have the same issue. I also receive the message "alert! PCI Express Card Operating in X1 mode".
