GTX 570 display issue; new build help

I just finished my first build and im setting up everything, installing drivers, OS etc. Im using my 42" Panasonic Plasma as my monitor for the moment. After I installed the first driver for my Evga GTX 570 classified GPU my resolution changed to 1920X1080; 1080P but it cuts off the bottom and sides of the display. Y is this? I wanna use my tv as my main gaming monitor and i want it to be in 1080P for the graphics quality. Ne ideas?

If you are on HDMI, try using a different connection to the TV

Try messing around with the settings on your tv. I had the same problem and there was a feature on my tv called overscan, I changed it and everything fit the screen perfectly.

Sounds like an overscan/underscan problem. TVs and graphics drivers often have overscan and underscan options. Try playing with those.
