So I have decided to build my first PC and well this computer will be mainly use for music production (not a lot of recording just making instrumentals) so it won't be used for heavy gaming. So far I have found all the components that I think will fill my needs but I would appreciate any tips and advices about my choices either changing them or adding other components to make my computer as fast and stable as possible.

CPU:
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000

Motherboard:
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

CPU Cooler:
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R1 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel ...

RAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9Q-16GBRL

Power Supply:
CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX750 (CMPSU-750AX) 750W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active ...

Video Card:
MSI N460GTX CYCLONE 1GD5/OC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Optical Drive:
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM

SSD:
OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Regular HHD:
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Will everything I have chosen be compatible with each other? Also is the CPU Cooler and Power Supply good enough?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

EDIT:

Here's the case I'll be using

Thermaltake Chaser MK-I (VN300M1W2N) Black SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Instead of the GTX 460, you should be looking at one of these options

HD 6850 - much more powerful, same price

HD 5830 - slightly less powerful, much lower price

whichever one fits your preferences.

Everything else looks fine.

Thanks Raiddinn

Could you please link me to the HD 6850 in newegg? I typed it in newegg but there's a lot of results and well I don't know which one you referring to.

They are all different versions of the same card by different manufacturers with tiny differences between them.

You can just get the cheapest one on the list if you like.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

That one is first on the list and has the lowest total price including shipping.

I will take the game if you don't want it.

Ah ok thank you and I think I may be keeping that game to test the PC's performance. :)
