Hi here is my problem don't know if any one can help but hope some one can it's very important.
A while ago I used to take my laptop into work and use it on the firms network via a wireless conection.
The time on my laptop was out by around 8 hours to the network time.
I used to use the Internet at work with no problem the network was using windows 2000 and my laptop was using windows XP.
Here is the problem the firm I used to work for have said that it was not posable for my laptop to connect to there network if the time is wrong but I know it did.
I have to find some out how this was possible as they have said I have acssesed the network via wireless after work hours.
Can any one help
Al

Was the laptop part of your work domain or not?
If it wasn't part of the domain then the time difference would not have mattered.
Only domain computers must have the time synced to operate correctly.
