A great read on random number generation, and Intel's attempts to implement an all digital random number generator in its new chips.
Was surprised they were still using an analog circuit for random number generation though; while this makes sense from a randomness standpoint, as stated in the article, it eats a LOT of power to amplify an analog signal. IB should see some significant power savings with its new digital random number generator.
