Do all motherboards support pc3 12800

Hello,
My motherboard GA-790A-DS3 has a Phenom ii x4 965 I was wondering if my motherboard supports DDR3 8GB 1600MHZ PC3-12800? I was worried about the PC3-12800 part :/ im new to builds sorry
