Good Wireless Router/Modem

My parents are using this really old 2wire modem/router and lately its been having lots of connectivity issues as there are more machines connected to it. I was wondering if you guys could suggest a good replacement device. I'm looking for a wireless modem/router (single device) that is reliable, inexpensive, and simple to use (no need for extra features). Thanks!

First thing I would do is check the ISP website for accepted devices.
