I have lost control of 2 of my PCI-E slots on my Gigabyte Sniper 3 motherboard. I just moved from KY to CA, and since I've been here i've had to RMA my motherboard (tested as OK), 3 video cards, and replace my cpu; in that order.
However, since my video cards came back in, and the cpu was replaced, the motherboard now does not show a video card as there when it's in either slot 2 or 4 of the PCI-Ex16 slots.
I originally thought it was the motherboard when I first got to CA due to the fact that I was given a error code 62 everytime I tried to boot up. Shortly after my tested board came back, I put it back together and it booted up fine, but wasn't showing all 3 video cards. After moving the video cards around in the slots I found that the cards themselves were causing the error code and had the replaced.
This got all the video cards working, but I still was unable to get them to work all at the same time because the PC wouldn't recognize 3 at a time. PCI slots just weren't working. On top of that I was getting desktop artifacts. This led me to believe my CPU was dieing as well. So I've now replaced that too, and have still not gained control of those 2 PCI-E slots.
WHAT ELSE COULD BE WRONG?!?!
I have already submitted another RMA request via Gigabyte to get it replaced/repaired again, but I'm skeptic they'll do anything now.
Does anybody have any bright ideas on what I can do?
