"games" is a bit too broad.
If its something like Battlefield 3 Skyrim of MW3, I honestly don't know that a $450 laptop could run them acceptably.
SWTOR? Possible at low settings of you find a good deal.
WoW? Yes, most $450 laptops would be able to run it at low, or even medium settings.

A $10-20 budget game from Steam or a discount rack at wal mart? Most likely can be done with most $450 laptops.
 
Based on what's currently available on Newegg you have two choices. Both are basically identical except the HP has a 640GB HDD instead of 500GB and it requires a mail-in rebate to bring down the price into your budget.

The Acer states that the CPU L2 cache is 2MB while the HP's cache is 1MB. The A4-3305M only has 1MB of L2 cache.
