Please help me =(

So i recently bought a sapphire 7770 with the recommendation of the toms hardware community. got a good deal on it but one problem... apparently there's conflict issues with my motherboard and new card(solution found in the Video Card Forums) because the card works in another rig in my house but not in mine. so now I'm in the market for a new motherboard which means new ram as well... anyway I'm seeing a lot of combo deals online and I'm not quite sure how to go about doing this. i know little to nothing about hardware but i do have a friend that will help me install all the parts. please help me figure out which direction to go with this be it just a motherboard and ram or motherboard ram and CPU.

i really only wanted to spend 100$ on my rig because I'm quite broke but i also don't want to pass up the chance for a great deal to dramatically improve my rig.(my rig is 5 years old now.)

More about please
  1. 1st what CPU / Processor do you use? New one or Q6600, because you list the different motherboards like intel and AMD.

If you still use the Q6600, you need the intel LGA775 motherboard.
  2. yes im still using the Q6600
  3. if i get the GA-G41MT-S2PT then what kind of ram should i get?
    it says DDR3 1333 (O.C.)/1066/800

does that mean i have to overclock ddr3 1333 to use it will there be compatability issues am i better off with 1066? this stuff is confusing =S
  4. i would get better performance out of 1333 right?
