hi im building a pc and was wondering what power supply brand you would recommend?

also with a amd radeon 6870 1gb and intel i7 2600k, would a 700w psu be ok?

A 500W would be plenty. Go 2500K, though, unless you're doing serious media work and you need the hyper-threading/processing power. Fill this out:
