Can I use {G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel
Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK} in my Intel® Desktop Board D975XBX2KR motherboard with Intel 965 EE CPU? The G.Skill 1066 mhz memory states it's compatible with the 975 Chipset used in this board. {M/B Chipset: intel X38 intel P35 intel 965 intel 975}

Then it should work fine, but may default to the slower 800 speed. You may be able to set it manually in the bios to 1066. Some boards detect the faster speed and set it automatically.
