Advice on My first Computer build?

So, I'm looking for a few bits of Advice on this PC build of mine, that I am planning on getting.
Only thing I'm not sure on is if it will actually work, as in, Is it all compatible, and is it worth the price?

Build:Processor:Intel i5 2500k OC to 4.4GHz

Mobo: MSI P67A-GD53 (B3), Intel P67 Express - SLI Support (MOBO)

Cooler: BK016 Performance cooler

RAM: 4GB Coirsair Vengenace DDR3 RAM 1600MHz

^Bundle: £366.80
(done on

CASE: Casecom 6788 All Black Case

GPU: Sapphire HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card

PSU: Antec TruePower New 650W Modular PSU

HDD: Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive WDBAAU0010HBK-NESN

Total: £608.10

I'm in the UK, and I plan to purchase these items maybe a week after New year. I don't need an OS, Keyboard or mouse. The Processor is Overclocked, and the monitor I'm using is 1300x768.
I plan on using this for a bit of everything, I'll be running a few games like L4D2, Portal 2, Maybe CoD and Skyrim.
I also plan on using it for photo-editing, movie editing, making music and Building things in CryEngine 3.
All help is appreciated. Thanks. :sol:

More about advice computer build
  1. an external HDD is slower than an internal
  2. Do you already have a HDD? Last time I checked you can't install Windows on an external (or as your main drive).
