OCZ 750W PSU - Works with Phenom... but how about other AMD chips?

Hey all. I need a new PSU and I'm looking at this OCZ 750W Modular PSU. The title description says, "...compatible with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom" Right now I have an Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition, so I don't think I'll have issues with it... but, if I ever wanted to plug one of the 8 core Zambezi processors (like the AMD FX 8150) into my ASUS M5A99X Evo, would this PSU be a problem?

I guess I don't understand why it's 'compatible' with some lines. Like I said, it shouldn't be an issue for my current setup but I'd hate to spend money on one that might not work with future upgrades.

Good move or...?

Yes of course it will work.
"...compatible with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom"
Typical stupid Newegg description which has nothing to do with a power supply.

yep that PSU will work fine with the 8 core. the compatibility list is just for marketing.. it's like advertising an power strip as being compatible with computers, kettles, TVs and phones, but not mentioning a lamp that you want to plug in. the lamp will still work in the power strip though! ;)
