OK So Recently I built my own gaming rig and I was having some amd display driver crashes but i think that was cause of fallout 3 and new vegas mods but anyway I have

a HIS Iceq 6970 900mhz , 8gbs ddr3 1600mhz ram and i7 2600k at 3.4 ghz and when I play Oblivion maxed out 8aa i get 60 frames constant , Fallout 3 8 aa 15 AF 59-60 frames constant and fallout newvegas 8aa 15 Af i get 50-60 frames constant , all at 1920 x 1080p resolutions , So Am I getting the right amount of frames for this rig i built , Should i be getting more frames ? Anyways thanks

Even if you get past 60 FPS you probably won't notice the difference when playing any actual games.

Thomas Edison determined long ago that the human eye needs to have at least 46 FPS in order to avoid eye strain.

Your monitor may not even be able to refresh faster than 60 FPS.

In any event, I think you are where you should be.

Yeah , I get ya , But what I was saying was If it is performing the way it should be (Which it is) not the fact that 60 frames is too low because 60 frames is perfect. Thanks for the answer oh and my monitor is 60hz , But I also play minecraft at 300 frames to 400 so it can do faster then 60 .. thanks
