Need Mac Help!

I have a MacBook Pro with an Intel Core Duo processor. I want to upgrade to the OS X Lion 10.7 and need a Core 2 Duo processor. What is the best way to do this and where?

If you already have a Core 2 Duo, then why do you need another one? Did you mean a Core 2 Quad? Personally, I'm not a Mac user and the vast majority of Tom's members aren't either so I don't know a whole lot about them beyond hardware and a little experience with older Mac books. Why do you want to upgrade your OS, and why do you want different hardware?

Essentially, you need a newer MacBook Pro. There is no way to upgrade the processor in your older system. That being said, why do you think you need to upgrade to 10.7?

Yup, you cant, you need to but a newer model. You cant upgrade the model you have.

In other news I sure enjoy Lion on my custom built desktop.
