Will my CPU be damaged

Hello, Mobo Asus P8Z68-M Pro, CEIL Corsa 2x4Gb 1600 Mhz ram bundel and Intel 2500-k cpu. Mother board with only ram and cpu. Power on all led light up no error, no beep sound and no display (POST).

CPU socket, one pin bend. Will this have damaged my cpu. I am waiting for replacement motherboard and is worrying about my cpu!

Intel does not have cpu pins on their processors so it should not matter.

the short on the socket pins, can it give wrong voltage to the cpu? The bended pin touch another pin

Your MB is gone.... unless you can fix the pin...otherwise even your RMA the MB to manufacture .... they won't do for you.... Buy another one... and be careful..

by the way your CPU should be fine....
