No Display on Boot Up

I am building my first computer, and have run into a hiccup. I have installed all the parts, and have turned on the computer, but my monitor hasn't recieved a signal. Then when I put the computer to sleep, upon reboot it flash on once, then turned back off. It keeps doing this, but eventually will turn back on.

Asus F1A75-V PRO mobo
Theraltake TR2 RX 750w Bronze power
AMD A8 3850 cpu
Corsair Vengeance 8gb ram
amd Radeon HD 6850
Coolermaster 932 HAF advanced case

Where is the monitor plugged in (GPU or Mobo)? Do you get a signal from neither one of them?
