Hi, I am looking for the cheapest possible rig to build with AMD CPU.

This system will be used for casual internet browsing, music, office work and a little gaming (eg. Angry Birds, Puzzles etc.)
Budget: $100-$250

Im really not looking into performance although if comes in the price range i am more than happy for the suggestions, just something that will work and is really cheap will do anyway.

Parts I dont need: Tower Case, Fans, Drives, Keyboard, Monitor, Speakers, OS, HDDs and Mouse.

Thanks.

MOBO: Foxconn A88GMV AM3 AMD 880G $55

RAM: Kingston Value 4GB DDR3 1333MHz $20

PSU: Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D $30

Total is $167. You can buy a low end graphic card later down the line if the integrated graphic doesn't work out for you. You'll be fine with something like a gt 240 which you can grab for like $35 these days I think lol.

I would stretch for the Phenom 2 840 processor instead of the Athalon 2 250, but for extremely light duty work either might be good enough.

In any event, it still fits under the budget maximum.

"Cheapest possible rig" I know there's enough money to get better parts but he did asked for the cheapest XD

Well, the cheapest possible rig could include going to a pawn shop and buying some pos computer from 1985 for like $10 and it would potentially function.

It wouldn't necessarily accomplish the goals set forth in a meaningful way, though.

I proposed an amendment because I thought the increased experience would be worth the increased expenditure.
