Hello, my parents asked me to build a computer for my brother for a christmas present. Their budget is around 300$ less is better but a little over is okay. I'm hoping to make it last for at least a few years. So I need some help knocking down the price a bit. It was 302$, but with newegg prices are always changing and they have gone back up.

Approximate Purchase Date: Sooner the better. It's a present

Budget Range: 300$ with or without rebates, willing to spend a bit more if needed

System Usage from Most to Least Important: internet, youtube, facebook, movies, homework

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, speakers, hard drive, case and dvd drive (I'm taking the hard drive and dvd drive out of the computer he already has because they are still somewhat new)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg

Country: Sacramento, CA

Parts Preferences: doesn't matter

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor Resolution: Not sure looking to get one

You can forgo the GPU since the mobo has an integrated GPU. You didn't put gaming in the usage list, so I assume no gaming is involved.

Since I'm a non-US resident, I can't help with the deals and stuff. Everything else seems pretty OK to me.

Wow, you shouldn't buy those combo deals. They aren't that good.

www.directcanada.com

Cooler Master 370 $36

A8-3850 AMD Llano CPU WITH GPU $125
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=10360BD4475&v...

Gigabyte FM1 Motherboard $68
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11830BD0945&v...

Corsair 4gb $22
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11180BD8269&v...

Corsair Builder Series 430w $40
http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=16950AC1394&v...

$291 w/ FREE SHIPPING

No need to buy a GPU because the built in one is pretty good. Just buy a single stick. Dual channel isn't that much a big deal.

Just get this build. Yours is over $300. mine is exactly where it needs to be.

Thank you for the build, but I sadly can't use Direct Canada. It looks like they don't ship to the US, but that would have been cool.

Wow, that's a good build for the price. I'll let my parents take a look. Hopefully they decide before the sale is over. Thank you!
