Hi my friend. i7-3930k is not worth the money since its performance is not that big over a i7-2500k

It's best to get a i5-2500k. I'm not sure but I know that music production does not need HyperThreading so an i5-2500k would be best.

Asrock z68 extreme4 gen3 < great overclocker. Gets to 4.5 on air.

Seagate Barracuda 500gb is only $70 bucks at amazon. You might want that.

16gb is overkill get 8gb. No difference.

You can easily max Diablo 3 with a 560ti/6950. It is made as an online game so requirements won't be too high.

Hi, Big-g, wait for Ivy/GTX 600/Radeon 7000. If you want to buy in a couple of months anyways, it makes no sense to go with the current gen stuff when with your budget you can so easily get you newer and in all probability faster tech.

Wait for the benchmarks before pulling the trigger :)
