Front panel connection problems

I have a 10 pin panel but a 16 pin port on my motherboard. I know I need to connect it manually but my 10 pin front panel is a single cord, what can I do to fix my problem?

  1. You can use a front panel extension cable (something similar to http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nanoxia-Front-Panel-Extension-Power-Reset-HDD-LED-cable-lead-30cm-Single-Sleeve-/310529190468 ).
Identify the wires in the 10-pin cord and attach the new extension cables.
  2. Well I fixed it by just manually plugging them in by pulling out the tabs them kept them in the cord.
