Do I need a 4-to-3 pin adapter for 4 fans going into 3-pin controller?

Phew - think I asked most of the question in the title but, yeah:

I have 4 4-pin 120mm fans (2 Thunderblades and 2 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835553002 ) and I want to plug them into this -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995016

No you don't need ...... you can just plug the 4 in to the 3 pin... it just don't use the last pin to control the fan..
