I want to upgrade my old gateway computer. i just want to add a cheap video card that's capable with windows 7 and that runs decent games like combat arms. im only going to use the website called amazon.com because they can use gift cards. heres anything you need to know about my pc http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/5389/5389nv.shtml im also going to buy things used and spending about 60 or 80$ total

With the 300W PSU in your system, I would limit your card choice to one that doesn't require an external PCIe power cable. One that gets all its power from the PCIe x16 buss (75W). Your PSU's +12V rail is rated at 15A. So I would say these AMD HD 6670 cards are the max you should use. At 1680x1050 resolution and lower, they should provide an enjoyable gaming experience... provided the old single core Pentium 4 3.0GHZ processor can keep up. (I don't believe that board will accept dual core processors)
