RAM Heat Spreader

I just installed some new RAM into a Dell Precision 490 workstation. It is my second attempt. When i turned the PC on it says the RAM does not have a heat spreader, but it does. The RAM looks just like the sticks that the machine came with. Is there any way to bypass this check?

I have never heard of a computer checking if ram has heat spreaders or not!

dells usually come with ram that doesn't have heat spreaders too...

never heard of a head spreader check lol.
