Wireless cards

Hey guys. I dont have a way to get an ethernet cable to my room so I've been searching for a good wireless solution for my computer. My room is on the second floor (router on first floor on far side of house) and the signal has to cross a couple of walls. Ive found the D-Link DWA-556 http://tinyurl.com/3r4sx2 for 59$ and also found the ASUS PCE-N13 for 28$ and thought to couple it with a directional antenna to aim at the router http://tinyurl.com/25aalw7. Any suggestions are helpful Thank You

the antennas are not directional (in fact, the antenna should be at 90 degrees to the intended target, not 'pointed at it'), but, 3 omni directional antennas combined (rf beamformer array) at slightly varying angles for best gain at less than perfect signals not perfectly aligned to the earth groundplane relative to the router.
