FX + Asus + Powercolor + Corsair = fun ?

I m moving out of my HP Firebird 802. Yeah, Firebird nice but I like some power ;-)
Could you guys give me some advice about this config. Very long time I have not did anything like this.. Feel free to replace parts as you think !
PS : Price point, I m good with those parts (except the PSU ..). I m more looking for advice around that price point.

    You do know that the 8 core series is just a waste of money? You don't need em for games. The most that you should buy on an AMD build is a Phenom II x 4 if it's only for office and gaming.
