You do know the Rosewill Case has a PSU already so you don't need to buy another PSU. :D

It's pretty good.

Yeah. The build I posted up is pretty good too. The most I would get is a 6850 with that PSU :) .

It's pretty good.

it has a 20 dollar off promo code

I'd say get it the I3 sandy is better then the Phenom in gaming and its not far behind the I5 2500k, Also the 6850 is a real good video card, should be able to max almost every game at 1080P.

The 6850 is a good card but will not be able to max most games at 1080p especially recent games. :(

The problem is if i get this GPU instead, i have to get a separate motherboard. Also, my friend has a hard drive that was previously used, but i am not sure if i should just get my own. if i do purchase a new hard drive will the operating system be installed on it or do i have to purchase my own?

What you don't have an OS?

Even if you get your friend's hard drive you still need to reformat it since it will only crash your computer if you install it on yours.

You will need to have your own OS.

Get this $80

Just get the the G620 combo and add the 6850. You should still be clear. :)
