Hello,
I am working on a new build. I want this computer to able to run all current gen games on max settings 1080p once I get the 7000 series amd. My budget is $2000 which includes the future upgrade for the graphics card.

Estimate purchase date: this week.
This is what I have currently:

OS: not needed. I have windows 7 ultimate edition from school

SSD: Corsair force series GT CSSD 180GB SATA 3 :
$274.99 minus $40dollar rebate from newegg.

CPU + heatsink: Intel Core I7-2600k + cooler master Hyper 212 plus 120mm sleeve CPU COOLER :
$354.37 with tax from amazon.

PSU: Corsair AX 750W gold rated:
$130.43 from frys

CASE: Haf x:
$179.99 from newegg

RAM:
MOTHERBOARD:

Monitor: Dell ultrasharp 2312HM about $230

I already ordered the ssd since it was on sale for 1 day. I also ordered the CPU and PSU since it was cheaper than normal.

total so far: about $941 w/o monitor, $1171 with dell ultrasharp 2312HM
I need help with the ram, motherboard and case. I am going to use my old graphics card 8600gts until I can purchase a 7000 series in Q2 2012. Any help appreciated. Also the monitor I am planning to get is the dell ultrasharp U2312HM. I will primarily use the computer for gaming, programing and websurfing.

I just built a new build with the HAF X case and I love it, It was easy to install everything and it keeps my components cool...Two things to watch out for
First is that it is a very large case so if you have any size restrictions you might want to take a close look at that.
Second is that the case doesnt have any external 3.5 bays for card readers and such so you will have to find some kind of special dock for that if you were thinking about getting a card reader

As for the ram and motherboard I cant be much help sorry

Okay, I am now considering the ram and motherboard that cutebeans suggested. What about my monitor? Is it good to get for my purposes? Or should I go for a TN panel
