Windows failed to start after hardware installation.

Hi guys, i've just recently built my very own computer.

One I completed installing all the hardware and wires I booted the computer but the "recovery screen" kept popping up. When I selected "Normally run windows" or "safe mode" the screen turned blue for a second then it restarted. I really don't know what's happened and i'm very frustrated because i've spent a lot of money on it.

P.S IM USING ANOTHER COMPUTER RIGHT NOW JUST INCASE YOU GUYS ARE WONDERING.

My computer specifications are:
Motherboard: Intel Extreme Series DP67BG
Processor/CPU: Intel i5 2500k 3.3 gHz
Graphic/video card: Asus GTX 560 ti 1GB
Memory RAM: Kingston 2x 4GB
Optical drive: New samsung one.

I'm using my old hard drives.

Please can someone tell me what the problem could be? Do I need to OS (operating system) CD install to start the computer. Or do you think i've damaged the processor or something? :(

Thanks.

More about windows failed start hardware installation
  1. Did you keep the OS you had on your old drivers?
If you kept it from your old build, format them and install your OS from scratch.
  2. The old installation of windows has drivers for your old motherboard and hardware setup. You will need to do at least a "repair installation", however, a reformat and clean installation is preferred.
