Network hard drive

WD drive conected to router, doesn't show on network. Link light on drive & router lit. What I miss?

If you go into the start menue and click on computer and then on the left pane down the bottom you see network , if you click on that then in the right pane at the top you will see the devices on your network and one of the devices will be your router , if you double click on the router you should see the network drive.
