Hi, I have built my own mainly built for gaming and also some multimedia. Below is a list of my computer specifivatiosn.

AMD HDZ965FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 965 - 3.4 Ghz AM3 Black Edition CPU

CPU Cooler
Corsair CWCH60 Water Cooler

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula - AMD 890FX - Socket AM3 - PCI-E
2.0 - DDR3 1600/1800/1866 - SATA 6Gb/s RAID - SupremeFX X-Fi Audio -
CrossFire - ATX

Power Supply
Antec HCP-750 GB High Current Pro Series 750W Power Supply Unit with
nVIDIA SLI-Ready and ATI CrossFireX Certified

Graphics Card
Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560TI DirectCUII PCI-E Graphics Card

Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Two Module Kit buy 2 kits

Hitachi Hds721010cla332 3.5inch 1tb 32mb Sata 7200rpm Hard Disk Drive

2x DVD Drive
Can not remember the names but they are (Sony)

Computer Case
Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case

I have applied the correct amount of cooling paste and made sure it is very smooth so that there are no air bubbles. The computer keeps shutting down randomly but mostly when I attempt to play a game. It can last for ten minutes or longer but it still will shut down. Also when it does shut down I can not turn it back on unless I un plug it from the mains and then plug it back in again.

One other thing I noticed and I am not sure if this has anything to do with it. The CPU has 600+ free space but it seems to be decreasing very slowly when I am not doing anything. Basicly the cache rises and the free space drops.

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreaciated.

I have just had an error show up saying that the graphics card has encounterd a problem and has now recoverd.

download hwmonitor and check the temp for your cpu and gpu when you play games.

Thank you for the program its amazing. The temprature has nothing to do with the computer shutting down. GPU rises to 50-60 from 25 and CPU rises to 30-40 from 25 when I play a game like Skyrim on Ultra High Grapgics.

I am at a stand still on why it keeps shutting down. It looks like its trying to protect its self but from what? I have no idea.

Oh I have saved the logs and if you want to view them the link is below.

I do not have another power supply to try.

Sorry about the link lol. Could the hard drive be causing the random shut downs? I just ran a diagnostic on the HDD twice and both scans dais the there is a hardware problem and memory problem. Both of them were related to the HDD.

Do you have both 6pin pci connectors plugged in to the gpu?
