Another rate my build thread. As stated in topic its been years looking for a good build doesnt have to be the best...just trying to do it for cheap.

Biostar TZ68A+ Intel LGA1155 Z68 Chipset Motherboard with USB3.0

i5-2500k

Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA III 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache

No one needs 16 gig of RAM for gaming . No one even needs 8 gig for gaming , but its cheap so that can be justified

The 750 watt psu is overkill for either of those graphics cards . 650 watt is plenty

The money you on those two items could buy you a better quality mb from a top tier manufacturer .

Or if its a pure gaming build you could buy a processor that cost $100 less and still have the same performance , or spend that $100 on a better graphics card and have better performance at the price

Totally agree on the 16gb ram issue, 8gb is more than enough.
The PSU I would stick to 750 though, if you want to add thing later you wont have to buy another PSU then.

video card: go for a 560ti or a 6950 depending on preference, they are both plenty for any game out there currently.
Im still using an ati5850 and Q9650 with 8gb ram to run any game at max setting at 1080p without issue.
