Is Sound Blaster PCI64V enough?

I've got this cheap card, and wonder if should buy a new one.

What I need to know, does the card affect the performance of my computer (using too much processor time)?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but I'd like an answer.

(I don't need any echoes or 3d sound just a card with the basic stuff.)

It's an ok basic card, no excessive system usage.

I have Ensoniq AW64/128 and it sounds better than Live! when playing MP3s on 2.1 speaker setup. Go figure... hehe
