RMA upgrade or downgrade?

I recently had to RMA my faulty evga GTX460(OC or SC?..) 1gb model, in return I received a GTX550 Ti SC.
Is the card I received better or worse than the one I had (if it was working)?

More about upgrade downgrade
  1. Its pretty similar, depending on the OC it might be a bit of a downgrade but not much.
  2. ok then not so bad. was kind of expecting a 560 but as long as this cad works right
  3. call EVGA. You got ripped off. Maybe they made a mistake, maybe they didn't but you sent a 460 maKE SURE YOU GET THE SAME OR BETTER BACK

If your GTX460 was the 786mb version, you got a fair dral.
If your card was the 1gb version, you got a slight downgrade.

If you got a downgrade, complain to evga and link to tom's graphics heirarchy chart for support:

  5. Yep, you got ripped off. Lost about 20% performance with your 550ti...
  6. yea it was the 1gb version.. ive probably used the 550 for too long now to give it back though?
