Hyper Transport

Your threads title is a bit misleading. Hyper Transport is AMDs IMC. Hyper Threading is something where a single CPU core can process two threads at the same time.

If the program is optimized for it, it can increase performance usually 20%, but not always.
 
Looking at your other posts it would appear you are taking a computer architecture class and have some hard homework questions, that right?
