Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe + IvyBridge CPU, can run three monitors?

Im building a new Mini ITX system and am planning to use P8Z77-I Deluxe, which has triple display connectivity (single HDMI, DP, DVI-D)

I would like to avoid having to use a discrete graphics card if necessary (I am not planning to use this system for gaming at all).

If I use an Ivy Bridge CPU can I use the iGPU to connect three monitors?

  1. Yes it can.

Having a discrete card is way better. With lass problems. Cards like HD 7770 are about $120.
  2. According to Xttony link: no! From the table in this article i understand, that three (normal) displays are only supported with two of them connected by display port. You have only one DP!
  3. Does anyone know of ANY ITX motherboard (not necessarily limited to Asus) which can support 3 monitors using Intel iGPU graphics?
  4. None of the Intel iGPUs supports more then two monitors, so the answer is no.
