Hello guys,

Last night, I checked the performance of two games: Call of Juarez the Cartel AND Hard RESET.

I have a ZOTAC GTX 460 1GB.

Maxed out settings for both of them.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel was able to run on 67-68fps, real smooth.
but,
Hard RESET was running on 30-33 fps, smooth, but was about half the frames per second than the COJ.

Does that mean: Hard RESET Graphics are better than Call of Juarez the Cartel?? Or its just more demanding like GTA IV??

Solution
It could be a combination of better looking and demanding / un-optimized.

also you will find that in some games Nvidia has better optimization / performance and others ATI will have the upper hand.

Unless the 2 games use the same engine (even then there will be variances) you cant assume you will get the same fps

Hard Reset is a very demanding game, while COJ isnt. So a FPS decrease would be ideal. As for GTA IV, IMO, it's just a bad console port, and not very demanding.

So yes, Hard Reset is more demanding than COJ, and therefor a FPS decrease will happen.
