I need some help guys. I am new to pc building and want a computer capable of playing skyrim 60fps on ultra @ 1920 x 1080. I am going to use the computer for diablo 3 and also first person shooters. I built a computer about 5 years ago solely for modern warfare 1. However, I had someone in my family setup the BiOS for me and put it together.

Here is what I currently have (boxes not at house so not sure of all components):

AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 6400+ 3.20Ghz Bloomfield

Gigabyte Motherboard (sorry i know this info is important but the box is in another city so I don't know what i have)

NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT Superclocked

4.00 GB RAM (it's good quality OCZ - was silver casing) i think it was 4 sticks

Think my hardrive is a 100g seagate sata decent speed

Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Fatal1ty

Windows Vista 64-bit

Rosewill Power Supply (has blue fans... I believe it is at least 800watt)

Antec 300 Black (ATX I think?) Mid Tower (has 2 front fans, a large top fan, and a fan on the top back section that are all blue leds)

I am really a newb. This might sound funny but I maximized the performance of my comp through process of elimination by turning off all unnecessary start up programs in task manager force quitting processes until my comp crashed then restarting it. I also turned of search index and that annoying superfetch.

This is what I was thinking of getting:

EVGA 02G-P3-1568-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 ... (seems like people are saying intel is better now?)

PLANAR PX2710MW Black 27" Full HD HDMI WideScreen LCD Monitor w/Speakers (have a weak 19inch hp)

From what I have read this processor/gpu combo won't even run skyrim on ultra decently so maybe 60 fps on high settings is more realistic? Should I think about getting the Ti 2win?
Any suggestions? I am guessing i need a motherboard because mine probably does not have PCI Express?

I really have no clue how to overclock so I am looking for suggestions on best value for price non overclocking focused components.

This computer will be used ONLY for gaming. I don't even surf the web on my gaming computer ever... It has no virus protection at all and I have never got a virus on it.

I am trying to aim for $1000 for motherboard, cpu, and video card. I know nothing about motherboard compatibilities and don't know if I need more RAM or a different kind or even a new case.
