I have a asus P5SDM-VM and i was thinking of buying buying a hd5670 1gb gddr5 for it.My motherboard has a pcie 1.0 slot so should i buy this card? Will pcie 1.0 affect its performance ?If yes suggest a card which will be best. I wanna play game on at least 1280x1024 resolution

Solution
P5SD2-VM is the closest I could find for the mobo. And it does indeed have one PCIe 1.0 16x slot. Which is good enough to work with the hd5670.
The stuff is backwards compatible, but it is still fast enough for pretty much all graphics cards.

So no it will not affect the performance. The 5670 should give you pretty good performance at 1280x1024.

Yeah, saw that to. On the bottom of the list ( didn't check em all the first time ) there are a couple of them. So if the op goes for one of them he'll be fine.

The sapphire is a very good card, but it depends on what games hes wanting to play and what kind of settings he expecting to use, no good getting a 5670 for crysis and battlefied 3 for example, unless hes happy using low res and low settings.
