Just a simple question for TomsH Pros

Purpose: Looking for Efficient homebuilt RIG for online games use

Package 1
Processor: Atom D525
Board: Asus AT5NM10T-I Dual Core
Video Card: HD5450 running on PCIE 1x
2GB Memory

Package 2
Processor: AMD E-350
Board: Asus E35M1-M
Video Card: Onboard HD6310
2GB Memory

Which is Faster, Stable, Efficient on games and software applications

Of the two I would prefer the AMD E-350.
As it has a higher IPC, single and lightly threaded apps (still the majority) will be quite a bit faster than with the Atom and as a system it should draw less power.
Also, while a dedicated 5450 will give slightly better gaming performance, the E-350's 6310 offers about all the performance the CPU will be able to use.

Just keep in mind that these are both low powered systems, not gaming rigs.
While you will be able to play many older games on medium/low settings, most newer games will be either unplayable or barely playable with the lowest settings.

If you have the option however, try and get an updated E-450 platform.
While the CPU will perform nearly identical to the E-350, the GPU will be able to turbo to 600MHz and you can use faster RAM with it.
