No Signal to the monitor on powerup
I have a problem that recently started yesterday.

Sys Specs:

i7 950 (OC'd 4.3 ghz)
asus p6x58d-e
asus gtx 570
6gb corsair dominator
antec 750w psu
Primary HDD is a 60gb microcenter SSD.

cpu and gpu are under water max temps on load are approximately 55c for cpu and 45c for gpu. I really don't think the system is overheating.

Issue:

Set GPU OC settings in asus doctor to Vcore: 1.213, engine 933, memory 4368.

After doing so ( while playing BF3 beta) the computer would freeze or just shut down.. It did this several times.

The final time it occured was when launching into game. the computer just shut down. At this time I had default clocks on the card. When restarting everything powers up... board, fans, etc... But no signal is being sent to the monitor.

I have re-seated everything. Trying resetting the BIOS using the jumpers, and have removed/returned the battery.

Still no signal to the monitor.

I have ordered another card in fear it's my 3 month old gtx 570... But I really hope it isn't the problem.

Any Ideas what could be going on? or what I should try to resolve the issue?

Do you hear the beep from your computer after you boot it?
If you don't hear a beep, that means that your processor is the problem.
If you hear the beep, that means that your graphics card is the problem.
You should try connecting your monitor to the integrated graphics on your motherboard, to see if your graphics card is the problem.
Good luck!

+1; if your integrated graphics doesnt display, chances are your mobo needs to be replaced as well

Thanks but the P6x doesn't have onboard video. and I don't have system speaker. :(

Drained the system tonight and can't find the OEM Fan/Heatsink for the 950...

Nothing to cool it with to test.

Update found the oem heatsink/fan. Replaced the cover/fan to the gpu..........

All powers up.

There is a reset button on the motherboard. It's lit up.

The fan on the GPU spins up and runs just fine.

Still no display sent to the monitor. I do not see any burn marks on the board or the gpu.
